What is rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty — often called a nose job — reshapes the bone and cartilage of the nose to improve its appearance, its function, or both. It can refine a hump, lift or narrow the tip, straighten a deviation, or correct breathing problems caused by the internal structure of the nose.
The best rhinoplasty is invisible: a nose that simply belongs on your face. That is the standard our professor surgeons work to — proportion and harmony, not a “done” look.
Are you a good candidate?
Most healthy adults whose facial growth is complete (usually from around 18) can be considered. Good candidates have realistic expectations and a specific concern — a dorsal hump, a drooping tip, asymmetry, or breathing difficulty.
During your free video consultation the surgeon examines your nose, discusses what bothers you, and tells you honestly what surgery can and cannot achieve. If rhinoplasty is not right for you, we will say so.
The process, step by step
It begins at home: a free video consultation with the surgeon, where you can share photos and ask everything. You receive a personal surgical plan and a fixed quote.
In Agadir you meet your surgeon in person for a full pre-operative assessment. The operation itself takes one to three hours under general anaesthesia, usually with one night in the clinic. A small splint protects the nose for about a week, and the surgeon checks your healing before you fly home.
Recovery
Most patients feel presentable within 7–10 days, when the splint comes off and bruising fades. Swelling subsides gradually — the tip in particular refines over several months, with the final result visible at around one year.
You recover in Agadir under your surgeon’s supervision, with in-person check-ups before departure. Once home, free video follow-ups keep your surgeon involved for as long as needed.
Risks — honestly
All surgery carries risk. For rhinoplasty these include bleeding, infection, prolonged swelling, asymmetry, breathing changes, and the possibility of a revision. Choosing a professor-level surgeon and following aftercare instructions closely reduces these risks significantly — and if a correction is ever needed, it is handled.
Why Agadir?
A rhinoplasty that costs €6,000–9,500 in the UK or Western Europe costs €2,400–3,200 in Agadir — with a professor surgeon, in a modern private clinic. The difference is the cost of operating in Morocco, not the quality of care. And you heal in sea air and sunshine, ten minutes from the beach.
Frequently asked questions
How long do I need to stay in Agadir for a rhinoplasty?
Plan for 8–10 days. The splint is removed around day 7, and your surgeon checks that healing is on track before you fly home.
Will the consultation be with the actual surgeon?
Yes. Your free video consultation — and every follow-up — is with the professor surgeon who would personally perform your operation.
Can rhinoplasty fix my breathing as well?
Often, yes. A deviated septum or enlarged turbinates can be corrected in the same operation (septorhinoplasty). Raise it in your consultation and the surgeon will assess both form and function.
When will I see the final result?
You will see a clear improvement within weeks, but subtle swelling — especially at the tip — takes up to a year to fully settle. Free video follow-ups let your surgeon monitor this with you.
