FAQ

Honest answers to fair questions

Everything patients ask before booking — answered the way we would answer a friend. Something missing? Ask us directly on WhatsApp.

Is it safe to have surgery in Morocco?

Yes, when you choose well — which is precisely our job. Our partner surgeons are professor-level specialists working in modern, licensed private clinics with European-standard protocols. Add in-person aftercare during your stay and free video follow-ups at home, and your care arc is arguably more complete than a typical private clinic at home.

Why is it so much cheaper than at home?

Lower operating costs, not lower standards. Clinic running costs, staffing and overheads in Morocco are a fraction of those in London or Amsterdam — surgeon seniority, implant brands and materials are the same. That is the entire explanation, and we think it is a good one.

Who will I speak to in the free consultation?

The actual surgeon or dentist who would treat you. Never a salesperson, never a “patient coordinator reading a script”. If surgery is not right for you, they will tell you.

Will there be a language barrier?

No. Our team speaks English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian, and consultations are conducted in your language. French and English are widely spoken in Agadir’s clinics and hotels.

What exactly is included in the price?

Your fixed quote covers the procedure, anaesthesia, clinic stay, medication, pre-operative tests and in-person check-ups — one all-in figure. Flights and hotel are separate, though we happily arrange them for you on request. Follow-up video calls are free.

What happens if something goes wrong after I return home?

First, your surgeon sees you on a free video follow-up — often the same day. Many concerns resolve with advice. If an in-person check or correction is needed, it is handled: we organise it, and corrections under the treatment plan are taken care of. You are never abandoned at the airport.

Can I travel alone?

Many patients do. We arrange airport pickup, remain on WhatsApp throughout, and schedule everything for you. If you prefer company, Agadir is a genuinely pleasant place for a companion to wait — beach, souk, sunshine.

Can I combine treatment with a holiday?

Yes — that is half the point. Most patients add beach days before or after their procedure (your surgeon advises what is sensible when). Taghazout’s surf resorts are a favourite for the recovery week.

How do payments work?

After your free consultation you receive a fixed written quote. A deposit secures your surgery date; the balance is settled in Agadir by card or transfer. No payment is ever requested before you have spoken with the surgeon.

Is treatment abroad covered by my insurance?

Elective aesthetic treatment is usually not covered by standard health insurance at home or abroad — this is true for private aesthetic care everywhere. Travel insurance for the trip itself is recommended; ask your insurer about medical-travel riders if you wish.

What qualifications do the surgeons have?

Our partner surgeons hold professorial or equivalent senior academic titles, specialist registration in Morocco, and typically international training or fellowship experience. We share your surgeon’s full credentials before you commit to anything.

How long do I need to stay in Agadir?

It depends on the procedure: from one day for teeth whitening to two or three weeks for comprehensive facial feminization surgery. Each procedure page lists a typical stay, and your quote confirms the plan for your case.

What if my quote does not fit my budget?

Then we talk honestly about options — staging treatment across two visits, adjusting scope, or simply waiting. We would rather you return when it suits you than stretch beyond what is sensible.
